In the sphere of commercial cleaning sweeping large areas may be an arduous job. At the mid 1980’s the very first battery-powered sweepers have been introduced materiel de nettoyage lyon. Since the debut of this ingenious bit of floor equipment many improvements are made. Battery-powered sweepers use a jet to move dirt and debris from a surface into a debris hopper or storage unit. Recently vacuum systems have been integrated into these sweepers so they can work on both hard floors and carpeted areas. Newer design sweepers have a negative brush that sweeps debris from edges to the direct path of the rotating brush which makes cleaning easier. The sweepers are widely used in regions like the hospitality sector, retail stores and some other large region where sweeping could be time consuming. This sweeper can clean around 11,000 square feet per hour, boosting the productivity of anyone using it.
The five major pieces of a battery powered sweeper would be the brush system, brush drive motor, vacuum system, charging system and user controls. The Tennant 3610 is not difficult to operate with a digital user control panel that gives the user total control over every part of the unit. This piece of floor gear functions on a 12 volt battery system that features a sealed maintenance free battery which creates two hours of continuous run time.
The brush system onto the Tennant 3610 is comprised of 2 distinct brushes. Underneath the unit is cylindrical brush which twists, grabbing debris and moving it into a storage space known as a debris hopper. A side brush rotates in a clockwise way moving debris out of corners and edges into the route of the cylindrical brush. From there the debris is again moved to the debris hopper. One nice feature of this piece of floor equipment is the brush automatically adjusts to various types of flooring. The Tennant 3610 is ideal for both carpeted and hard floor areas with no adjustments needed in the operator. The bigger cylindrical brush includes a cleaning path of twenty four inches and uses a poly propylene brush with six rows of bristles positioned in a chevron pattern.
The vacuum system on this particular battery sweeper utilizes a small blower motor which generates fifty five feet per minute of air movement that assists in moving debris and dirt to the hopper. This is a complex concept that’s been added to the ground sweepers before ten years which makes them better at eliminating finer particles in the surface being washed.
As debris and dirt are transferred into the hopper system the air moves through two filters with a surface area of ten square feet. This gives ample airflow and filters the air so that air particulates shifting from this system are kept to a minimal. Through the years this filter will get plugged with dust, the Tennant 3610 includes a filter shaker attribute that will automatically shake debris out of the filter when the user activates the switch. The hopper system may hold thirty five liters of debris and dust before it is full. The dust collection hopper is easily emptied by removing it from the machine using an ergonomically designed handle for easy removal
The user control panel around the Tennant 3610 features digital push buttons which are clearly labeled and easy to use. The control panel is composed of six buttons, the buttons incorporate an on off major power button, so brush setting buttons, a filter shaker button, a vacuum engine button, and a click button which will change the digital readout display from battery to hours used. These buttons are simple to use and are found in the middle of the control handles.
Total the Tennant 3610 is one of the ideal battery powered sweepers sold on the floor gear marketplace. This system has an average lifespan of ten to fifteen years and is supposed to be repaired and rebuilt when required. Tennant components can easily be obtained from either a Tennant parts dealer or an internet Tennant parts store. This machine is a lot better than components made by companies including Windsor, NSS, Tornado and Mastercraft USA.
